Chris Brown has apologized for his public Twitter rant at Raz B in which he spewed hateful homosexual epithets at an alleged molestation victim.
Brown told TMZ, “This was an unfortunate lack in judgment sparked by public Twitter attacks from Raz B, who was bent on getting attention. Words cannot begin to express how sorry and frustrated I am over what transpired publicly on Twitter.
“I have learned over the past few years to not condone or represent acts of violence against anyone. Molestation and victims of such acts are not to be taken lightly; and for my comments I apologize – from the bottom of my heart.
“I love all of my fans, gay and straight. I have friends from all walks of life and I am committed, with God’s help, to continue becoming a better person.”
Previously Raz-B, a star of the now-unraveled R&B group B2K, had accused his former manager and cousin of molesting him, charges he pushed forward in the media with vigor. And when he tweeted criticism at Brown for his abuse of Rihanna, he got more than he bargained for.
“Im just sittin here Thinking how can ni**as like @ebenet & @ChrisBrown disrespect women as Intelligent as @HalleBerry11 @Rihanna,” Raz-B tweeted. Brown fired back, writing, “@razb2k ni**a you want attention! Grow up ni**a!!! Dick in da booty ass lil boy.”
It then got more serious with Raz-B accusing Brown of being a closeted homosexual and the two taking pot shots at each other’s careers. Here’s a rundown of their tweets:
